Personal Information

I was born in Sioux Falls, SD, and was raised in the area around Sioux Falls.  My dad, Jack, and mom, Sharon, still live in this area with an extremely fat cat, Baxter.  My sister, Letisha, is two years older than I am.  She teaches 2nd grade at John Harris Elementary School in Sioux Falls.

I was married to my college sweetheart, Jeremiah, on August 5, 2000.  We live with our gray-striped farm cat, Biene, in an old house in need of love and repair.

My interests are eclectic; I love to sing, dance, and play the French horn.  I also love to be outside, and hope to camp and travel until I am at least one hundred.  My hobbies also include anything relating to Germany, or any German-speaking countries.  My ideal job (second only to teaching, of course!) would be to travel the world, taking pictures and writing about what I see.
